Coches accelerates 5 million images daily across Spain, Portugal and Germany

Selling a car on coches.com, carmine.pt, and autoboerse.de is easy, but rising upload volumes across three sites meant heavier pages and growing bandwidth costs. Autodescuento S.L. needed to reduce image weight, lower delivery costs, and improve SEO and image indexation across all brands. They also wanted to protect images from theft with invisible watermarking.

Since the three websites do not use a CMS, the team implemented Cloudimage via JavaScript. In just one day, ~5 million images were cached, optimized, and accelerated.
